From the Paddock to Simms Performance
After years of developing his skills and experience within motorcycle racing, Ally wanted to bring that knowledge home and build something of his own.
Simms Performance was established to provide specialist engineering, tuning, mapping and race-support services from Northern Ireland.
Significant investment is being made in specialist machinery, equipment and technology to continually expand the capabilities of the business and provide customers with a professional performance service.
Simms Performance was created from a lifelong passion for cars, motorcycles, engineering and competitive motorsport.
Founder Ally Simms has been involved with cars and motorcycles throughout his life and has spent more than a decade gaining hands-on experience working with different race teams and within demanding motorsport environments.
Our Mission
Our goal is simple: to apply the knowledge, engineering standards and attention to detail developed through motorsport to every vehicle that enters our workshop. At Simms Performance, we believe the principles of precision, consistency and reliability that underpin successful motorsport engineering should extend beyond the racetrack. Whether developing a competition engine or optimising a road-going performance vehicle, every project deserves the same level of care, technical understanding and attention to detail. Building on over a decade of practical motorsport experience, Simms Performance combines proven engineering principles with modern technology and a commitment to delivering measurable improvements.
